White Lodging to manage new hotel just outside the Indiana University Bloomington campus

White Lodging Services has been selected to manage the new SpringHill Suites Bloomington, in Bloomington, IN.

The hotel, owned by Bloomington-based KPM Hotel Group, is scheduled to break ground this summer with an opening scheduled for fall 2013. It is the first new, branded hotel to open in the downtown of the city home to Indiana University since the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn, also managed by White Lodging, in 2006.

Located at 501 N. College, at the corner of College & 9th Street, the 158-room hotel will feature 1,300 square-feet of meeting space connected to the lobby, as well as a 20-seat bar and lounge area in the lobby designed to help guests enliven and further enjoy their hotel experience.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott is an all-suite, select-service hotel brand that appeals to both business and leisure travelers.  Launched in November 1998, the brand currently has more than 250 locations in the United States and Canada.  SpringHill Suites along with over 3,100 Marriott-affiliated hotels worldwide, participate in Marriott Rewards, the guest reward program that allows its over 30 million members to earn points or airline miles for each dollar spent during each stay.
