Jekyll Island Club Hotel Celebrates Milestone Anniversaries

2012 will bring the Jekyll Island Club Hotel into an exciting new era. The hotel is celebrating 125 years of history and 25 years of hospitality. Celebrate with us as we journey through 2012 with specials and promotions all celebrating our milestone anniversaries. The hotel has partnered with the Jekyll Island Museum to put together an entire year's worth of promotions celebrating the history and heritage of the Jekyll Island Club and its former elite members.

Each month's promotions will include specials on overnight accommodations as well as food & beverage specials for our guests. January's offer brings true excitement- any room; any night is just $125.00, the Jekyll Island museum is offering all tours this month for just $12.50, while all overnight guests in February will receive a 12.5% discount on all food and beverage.

The hotel has commissioned an exclusive oil painting of the exterior of the hotel by local artist, Christophe Goodstein which will be unveiled at the January kickoff event, "An Evening with the Artists". The hotel has also commissioned a book celebrating the 25 years that the hotel has been re-opened, by 2011 Georgia Author of the Year, June Hall McCash.  Founder's Day was a special celebration the Club members would commemorate at the end of their season on Jekyll Island. The Jekyll Island Museum along with the hotel, has planned a Progressive Dinner and anniversary gala showcasing the beauty of the Historic District while celebrating the completion of numerous restoration projects that have brought this unique site to life. All events are open to the public. Reservations required.

Take a piece of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel home with you and spend each month re-living history with our 2012 commemorative calendars.
